At the Unidad Educativa Santana in Ecuador, Dariel places an emphasis on developing abilities in students that encourage them to acquire knowledge on their own. He puts them in situations in which they have to research a variety of sources and bring this information to class for discussion in order to ultimately come to a conclusion about their quality. Within this teaching model, Dariel is simultaneously a facilitator and a conciliator of knowledge –precisely the roles that he’s looking for his students to develop.
