Turnitin Fall Webcasts Feature Online Grading, Feedback and Plagiarism Awareness Strategies
Popular web series for educators includes sessions on employing rubrics, bridging evaluative hurdles in the classroom, and promoting academic integrity
OAKLAND, Calif. (Sep 4, 2014) -- Turnitin, the leader in originality checking and online grading, today announced its new schedule of webcasts to help educators improve student writing, evaluation and feedback. The online series is a continuation of the popular, complimentary 30-Minute Webcast series, which started in Spring 2012 and has attracted more than 25,000 attendees.
"Through our network of Turnitin-using educators we have immense feedback on challenges in the classroom, which we are pleased to address in the upcoming webcast series," said Jason Chu, education director at Turnitin. "By popular demand, we added three back-to-school sessions presented by the Turnitin Professional Development Team, aimed at providing educators with strategies to help start off the year successfully using Turnitin."
